It has been three years since I left my home in West Michigan for the Great Northwest. Now at the start of 2009 I begin my Senior Year at Portland Bible College. I have a great line up of classes this semester, A few I am especially excited about. Here is my new Class List:

I am especially excited for Apocalyptic Literature. Its the subject that I tend to avoid in the Bible, It always seemed so unnecessary, Why worry about tomorrow right? But I also come to realize how much your Eschatology (view of end times) shapes your view on life and God here and now. I am looking forward to getting a little more educated on the different views. To top it all off, one of the texts for the class is former PBC Professor Larry Asplund’s new book “Transformers” which I have been meaning to get my hands on since I heard about it.
